About this Opportunity:
The IT Project Manager at Harbour Outdoor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects in the company’s IT department, which includes; coordinating production releases and roll-outs, delegating tasks to the necessary employees, communicating to cross-functional partners on projects’ progress and results, and managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.
What you’ll do:
- Be highly adept around the subject matter to be able to articulate technical details and requirements to various teams involved
- Be able to understand technical components to be able to effectively manage projects and programs
- Help define metrics and project success criteria & timelines
- Work with the VP of Operations to build plans on how to execute the project / program
- Contribute to help solve complex problems
- Make data informed decisions to steer software & system selections
- Planning, execution and delivery of cross-functional initiatives
- Partner with management on project execution and team efficiency
- Drive roadmap and resource planning activities and deliverables
- Help build a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning
- Management of MDM platform and policy implementation
- Document existing IT stack and procedure and software usage and ability to review with the Executive Team
- IT help desk contact point for daily troubleshooting as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 1 years of software engineering experience, Infrastructure, or similar experience
- Understanding cloud technologies, Shopify & NetSuite
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts
- Managing the full life-cycle of programs / projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Work with cross-functional organizational partners to help drive outcomes for projects
- Exposure to or understanding of Product focused program management
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel
